Here's a healthy hot chocolate recipe that will warm you up and boost your immune system:
Why turmeric hot chocolate is so good for you:
-Turmeric contains curcuma which has anti-inflammatory properties.
-Cacao powder is one of the richest sources of antioxidants and is a great source of magnesium, dietary fiber, iron, zinc, and potassium.
-Cinnamon is also full of antioxidants and possesses anti-inflammatory properties.
Ingredients you will need:
-1-2 tbsp Kiva cacao powder
-1 tbsp coconut sugar
-Splash of maple syrup
-1 cup milk of choice
-1 tsp Kiva ceylon cinnamon
-1/2 tsp ground turmeric
-Dash of black pepper
-Combine 1 cup warmed milk of choice with 1-2 TBSP of cacao and 1 TBSP of cinnamon powder.
-Add a splash of maple syrup and 1 TBSP of coconut sugar.
-Add 1/2 TSP of ground turmeric and a dash of black pepper.
-Whisk and stir together.
